Vertiv in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain electrical systems and components. You will prepare specs, calculations, drawings and reports, and manage PCB layouts with Siemens Xpedition EDM, or coordinate external partners.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong electrical engineering fundamentals. Willingness to travel and collaborate across teams is valued.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems and components.
• Experience with electrical design, analysis, testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Familiarity with Xpedition EDM or similar PCB design tools.

Mansioni

• Participate in design and development of electronic boards and electrical systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and reports.
• Develop and layout PCBs using Siemens Xpedition EDM or coordinate with external collaborators.
• Perform electrical calculations, simulations and analyses.
• Review designs for standards, safety, and project specs.
• Support testing, validation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, or operation.
