Job summary

DAB Pumps is seeking a Financial Services Officer on a maternity leave cover in Italy (Mestrino). You will join the Financial Services Team to support Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report activities, focusing on accounting, month-end closing, and balance sheet reconciliation.

The role requires a degree in economics/finance/accounting, 1–2 years in accounting, English fluency, and familiarity with ERP systems (InforLN a plus). You’ll work in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting and Record-to-Report experience preferred.
• Strong accounting background and proactive, quick learner.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of ERP systems; InforLN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to standard supplier inquiries with timely, accurate replies.
• Process PO and non-PO invoices, including fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
• Manage statutory and tax accounting obligations per local requirements and group policies.
• Lead monthly closing for the assigned company following Accounting Manual rules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Uphold ethical standards and internal control compliance.

POSITION -Financial Services Officer (Maternity Leave)

We are looking for a proactive, precise and motivated Financial Services Officer to join our Financial Services Team. In this role, you will support the team in the execution of Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report activities, with a focus on accounting, month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliation.

What You Will Do

• Receive and respond to standard supplier inquiries ensuring timely, accurate and professional responses;
• Process PO and non-PO invoices, including fixed asset & intercompany transactions, in accordance with established procedures;
• Manage statutory and tax accounting obligations for the assigned company, ensuring compliance with applicable local requirements and Group policies;
• Manage the monthly closing for the assigned company, ensuring that local requirements and Group Accounting Manual rules are followed;
• Perform the Balance Sheet Reconciliation, investigate outstanding items and ensure timely resolution of open issues;
• Ensure that a high standard of ethical norms is embedded into all processes and tasks throughout the job, in compliance with the DAB Code of Conduct and internal control standards;

WHO You Are

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field;
• 1- 2 years of experience in Accounting and Record-to-Report activities is considered a plus, particularly in month-end closing, Balance Sheet reconciliation and statutory/local accounting activities;
• Candidates with a strong accounting background, a proactive attitude and the ability to learn quickly will also be considered;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred and experience with InforLN is a plus;
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills;
• Agile and curious mindset.

Target Hiring Range

Total compensation package in the range between €32,000 and €36,000 gross per year.
