DAB Pumps in Mestrino, Italy, seeks a proactive Financial Services Officer for maternity cover in the Finance team. You will support Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report activities, with focus on month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations and compliance with local requirements.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting, 1–2 years in accounting, strong attention to detail, and fluent English. Experience with InforLN and ERP systems is a plus.

• 1–2 years of experience in Accounting and Record-to-Report activities is a plus.

POSITION -Financial Services Officer (Maternity Leave)

We are looking for a proactive, precise and motivated Financial Services Officer to join our Financial Services Team. In this role, you will support the team in the execution of Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report activities, with a focus on accounting, month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliation.

What You Will Do

• Receive and respond to standard supplier inquiries ensuring timely, accurate and professional responses;
• Process PO and non-PO invoices, including fixed asset & intercompany transactions, in accordance with established procedures;
• Manage statutory and tax accounting obligations for the assigned company, ensuring compliance with applicable local requirements and Group policies;
• Manage the monthly closing for the assigned company, ensuring that local requirements and Group Accounting Manual rules are followed;
• Perform the Balance Sheet Reconciliation, investigate outstanding items and ensure timely resolution of open issues;
• Ensure that a high standard of ethical norms is embedded into all processes and tasks throughout the job, in compliance with the DAB Code of Conduct and internal control standards;

WHO You Are

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field;
• 1- 2 years of experience in Accounting and Record-to-Report activities is considered a plus, particularly in month-end closing, Balance Sheet reconciliation and statutory/local accounting activities;
• Candidates with a strong accounting background, a proactive attitude and the ability to learn quickly will also be considered;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred and experience with InforLN is a plus;
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills;
• Agile and curious mindset.

Target Hiring Range

Total compensation package in the range between €32,000 and €36,000 gross per year.
