ASBIS is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function of our retail business across European markets. You will own P&L, drive budgeting, and partner with commercial teams on pricing and promotions.

The role requires IFRS reporting, cash flow optimization, and strong leadership. English proficiency and excellent communication are essential for collaboration across multinational teams.

Competenze

• 5 years of experience in finance, including leadership roles.
• Experience in retail, consumer electronics, FMCG, or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance, with FP&A and commercial finance experience.
• Solid understanding of retail KPIs (gross margin, sell-through, inventory turnover).
• Experience in multi-country European environment is a plus.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy and support business growth across European markets
• Own P&L performance, with a focus on margins, channel and category profitability
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Optimize working capital (inventory, cash flow, stock efficiency)
• Secure and manage financing facilities to support business growth
• Partner with commercial teams on pricing, promotions, and expansion initiatives
• Ensure accurate reporting (IFRS) and strong internal controls

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in finance, including leadership roles
• Proven finance background in retail, consumer electronics, FMCG, or distribution
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance, combined with solid FP&A and commercial finance expertise
• Solid understanding of retail KPIs (gross margin, sell-through, inventory turnover)
