ABB E-mobility is looking for a Global Finance & Business Controller to partner with leaders worldwide and provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. You will drive reporting, closings, and performance analysis across international operations.

The role requires experience in financial controlling, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAC. The position offers a competitive package under the local CCNL framework and a tax-conscious compensation structure.

Competenze

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Solid experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial statements, profitability analysis and performance controlling.
• Understanding of Revenue Recognition principles and SAP S/4HANA usage.

As a Global Finance & Business Controller, you will partner with business leaders worldwide, providing financial analysis and actionable insights to support decision-making, optimize performance, and contribute to sustainable growth.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial reporting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities across global operations
• Analyze financial performance, including P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, revenues, costs, and profitability
• Provide valuable insights into business drivers, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support revenue recognition activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Monitor inventory performance, stock valuations, and provisions, helping drive operational efficiency
• Investigate financial variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for senior stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools, and financial governance

We are seeking a proactive and analytical finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with a business-oriented mindset.You bring:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Solid experience in financial controlling, business finance, FP&A, or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, profitability analysis, and performance controlling
• Understanding of Revenue Recognition principles and related accounting requirements
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and business analytics is considered a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Italian language skills are considering a strong asset

Compensation Details

The employment framework is based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level between B2/B3 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from € 37.000.
The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender-neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
The total compensation package also includes a variable bonus linked to individual and company targets.
