Sunstar in Lazio, Italy seeks a Finance Business Partner to serve the General Manager and commercial leadership with insightful analysis and strategic recommendations that drive profitable growth.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and reporting, coordinating with local and regional teams. English fluency is essential; experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments is valued, with ERP SAP experience preferred.

Competenze

• University degree with specialization in Finance / Accounting.
• Business fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• French and other European languages are a plus.
• Strong IT literacy: MS Office, ERP (SAP preferably), CRM, and BI tools.

Mansioni

• Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the General Manager and commercial leadership team, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to support revenue growth, profitability, and achievement of business objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial modelling processes, ensuring alignment between financial targets and business strategy.
• Provide timely and accurate business performance reporting, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to local, regional, and functional stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
• Analyze commercial and financial performance through KPI monitoring, profitability analysis, customer and category performance reviews, and variance analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Drive cash flow performance and working capital optimization through effective forecasting, receivables management, inventory oversight, and liquidity planning.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and Sunstar policies, coordinating with outsourced accounting providers, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and support sustainable business growth.
• Lead finance-related transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging systems and digital tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BI solutions) to improve efficiency, reporting quality, and business insights.
• Manage and develop the local finance team, fostering a high-performance culture, building capabilities, and ensuring business continuity.
• Contribute as a member of the local leadership team, supporting broader organizational initiatives and sharing responsibility for selected administrative or operational matters typical of a lean and agile business environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualification University degree with specialization in Finance / Accounting (essential) Business fluent in English (both writing and speaking) (essential); French and other European languages are a plus Strong IT literacy: MS Office (particularly Excel), ERP (SAP preferably), CRM, and BI tools

Experience

• 8+ years' experience in Finance, including FP&A, controlling, and business partnering
• Experience supporting commercial, sales, and marketing organizations
• FMCG or other fast-paced commercial environment experience
• Experience influencing business decisions through financial analysis and recommendations
• Experience in international, matrix organizations
• Leadership experience managing teams and transformation initiatives
• Exposure to customer service, logistics, or HR is an advantage
