DHL eCommerce Italy in Peschiera Borromeo seeks a Finance Coordinator to take ownership of finance processes in a growing international business. The role covers AR/AP management, VAT declarations, month-end closing support, and continuous process improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in an international environment.
• Solid SAP knowledge in AP/AR and VAT declarations.
• Proficient MS Office, especially Excel.

We are looking for a Finance Coordinator to join the DHL eCommerce Cross- Border Solutions team

Finance Coordinator

Location: Peschiera Borromeo (Milan), Italy

Employment Type: This position is offered under a fixed-term employment contract for maternity leave replacement purposes (sostituzione maternità), in accordance with Italian legislation. Level 2 under the applicable CCNL

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): ranges from €32,000 to €38,000, depending on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant professional experience. The compensation package also includes an annual profit-sharing bonus of €1,350, subject to the applicable company scheme, with the option to convert it into welfare benefits.

To support our continued growth and transformation journey, we are looking for a talented and motivated Finance Coordinator to join our Finance team in Peschiera Borromeo.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management

• Maintain and monitor customer credit limits
• Review and allocation of incoming payments
• Credit screening and credit monitoring
• Handle dunning process
• At as counterpart for Sales and Customer Service teams
• Prepare reports and analyses related to accounts receivable activities

Accounts Payable Management

• Posting and archiving of incoming vendor invoices (including cost split, allocation and validation)
• Accounts reconciliation with creditors (internal / external)
• Supplier Master Data management (e.g. vendor onboarding)
• Act as counterpart for internal and external stakeholders

Month-End Closing support

• IC-Reconciliation
• Timely Preparation of HR KPI’s
• Prepare parts of the reporting package

VAT - Declaration

• Calculate the monthly VAT-Liability and reconcile to SAP
• Prepare the monthly VAT-Register and submit VAT-Data to tax authorities
• Prepare monthly Intrastat-Form and submit Intrastat-Declaration

Continuous Improvement

• Drive finance process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Independently manage smaller finance projects and initiatives

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, ideally within an international environment
• Solid experience in Accounts Receivable processes, including collections, reminders, legal follow-up, and reporting
• Good knowledge of SAP, particularly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules
• Experience with VAT - Declaration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Native or fluent Italian and fluent English are required; German is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Reliable and proactive team player and a hands-on mentality
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
