Inspired Education Group is seeking a Finance Controller to support the Italian region from Milan, ensuring accurate financial reporting, governance and strategic support across multiple schools. The role focuses on revenue recognition, budgeting, and control processes within a fast-growing, international education group.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Finance Controller or similar role.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience managing multi-entity or regional finance operations.
• Good understanding of balance sheet mechanics and monthly reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end revenue processes with IFRS 15 compliance.
• Analyze revenue variances vs budget and forecast.
• Oversee financial reporting across multiple schools in the region.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and financial controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with ownership on revenue lines.
• Monitor financial performance and identify risks and improvements.
• Drive improvements across finance processes.
• Ensure robust governance and internal controls are maintained.
