Job summary

Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. è alla ricerca di un Finance Business Partner per supportare l’unità di business a Roma, analizzando driver di performance, trend emergenti e contribuendo a definire strategie operative.

Il candidato ideale possiede una laurea magistrale in Economia o Ingegneria Gestionale, 5–6 anni in ruoli di Commercial Finance/FP&A in contesti multinazionali FMCG, eccellenti capacità analitiche e fluente in italiano e inglese.

• Eccellenti capacità di pensiero strategico e di comprensione del business, con forte conoscenza della gestione di P&L e analisi di redditività.

Responsibilities

• Essere il principale partner di business per il Head of Finance, influenzando decisioni strategiche e guidando la performance tramite analisi finanziarie robuste.
• Guidare i processi di Annual Plan e forecasting, garantendo reporting tempestivo e accurato.
• Identificare opportunità di efficienza operativa, costruire business case e supportare team nell'implementazione di misure di risparmio e KPI di performance.
• Collaborare con il team NPD per valutare la redditività finanziaria degli sviluppi di prodotto e allinearsi alle strategie NPD.
• fornire insights su performance di sito e supportare decisioni mediante forte senso degli affari e gestione degli stakeholder.
• Tradurre obiettivi strategici in piani operativi a breve e lungo termine.
• Condurre analisi dati per sostenere la performance aziendale e presentare i risultati ai principali stakeholder.
• Valutare progetti di investimento passati, confrontare reale vs business case e proporre azioni correttive.
• Influenzare senior stakeholder attraverso la cultura della responsabilità e del miglioramento continuo.
• Contribuire all’evoluzione di processi, strumenti e reporting di Finance per migliorare il business partnering.

In this role, the candidate will support and guide the business unit by analyzing key performance drivers, identifying emerging trends, driving financial performance and helping shape actionable strategies to drive business impact.

Activities & Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary business partner for the Head of Finance, influencing strategic decisions and driving business performance through robust financial analysis
• Leading the Annual Plan and forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies, building business cases, and supporting teams in implementing cost‑saving measures and performance KPIs
• Partnering with the New Product Development (NPD) team to assess financial viability and ensure alignment with NPD strategies
• Providing insights into site performance and supporting decision‑making through strong business acumen and stakeholder management
• Translating strategic goals into actionable short and long‑term operational plans
• Conducting data analysis to support business performance and presenting findings clearly to key stakeholders
• Evaluating past investment projects, comparing actuals vs. business case, and recommending corrective actions
• Influencing senior stakeholders across functions, fostering a culture of accountability, performance management, and continuous improvement
• Contributing to the evolution of Finance processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to enhance business partnering effectiveness.

Competenze ed esperienza

The candidate should be analytical, proactive, and business‑oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across functions.

What the candidate will need

• Master's degree in Economics or Management Engineering
• 5-6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering roles within complex multinational or FMCG organizations
• Strong strategic thinking and business understanding, combined with excellent analytical capabilities, which implies strong understanding of P&L management, profitability analysis and business case development
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective interpersonal skills and team collaboration mindset, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership level and a proven experience partnering with senior commercial and marketing stakeholders
• Creative, curious, and innovative approach to problem‑solving
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
