Sunstar seeks a Finance Business Partner to serve the GM and commercial leadership, delivering insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and performance guidance to drive profitable growth for Italy and Europe. The role leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, while ensuring robust governance and timely performance reporting.

Competenze

University degree in Finance/Accounting required.
Business fluent in English; French and other European languages are a plus.
Strong IT literacy: Excel, ERP (SAP preferably), CRM, and BI tools.

Mansioni

Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the General Manager and commercial leadership team, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to support revenue growth, profitability, and achievement of business objectives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial modelling processes, ensuring alignment between financial targets and business strategy.
Provide timely and accurate business performance reporting, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to local, regional, and functional stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
Analyze financial performance through KPI monitoring, profitability analysis, customer and category performance reviews, and variance analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
Drive cash flow performance and working capital optimization through forecasting, receivables management, inventory oversight, and liquidity planning.
Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and Sunstar policies, coordinating with outsourced accounting providers, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and risk management processes to safeguard assets and support sustainable growth.
Lead finance-related transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging SAP S/4HANA and BI tools to improve efficiency and insights.
Manage and develop the local finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring business continuity.
Contribute as a member of the local leadership team, supporting broader organizational initiatives and administrative matters.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the General Manager and commercial leadership team, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to support revenue growth, profitability, and achievement of business objectives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial modelling processes, ensuring alignment between financial targets and business strategy.
Provide timely and accurate business performance reporting, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to local, regional, and functional stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
Analyze commercial and financial performance through KPI monitoring, profitability analysis, customer and category performance reviews, and variance analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualification

University degree with specialization in Finance / Accounting (essential)
Business fluent in English (both writing and speaking) (essential); French and other European languages are a plus
Strong IT literacy: MS Office (particularly Excel), ERP (SAP preferably), CRM, and BI tools

Experience

8+ years' experience in Finance, including FP&A, controlling, and business partnering
Experience supporting commercial, sales, and marketing organizations
FMCG or other fast-paced commercial environment experience
Experience influencing business decisions through financial analysis and recommendations
Experience in international, matrix organizations
Leadership experience managing teams and transformation initiatives
Exposure to customer service, logistics, or HR is an advantage

What Makes You Successful in This Role
