Contents is a fast-scaling Italian AI-powered content platform. We’re seeking a Finance Analyst in Milan to support FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.

You’ll build and maintain models, monitor SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV), and partner with Commercial, Product and Ops to drive data-driven decisions that shape growth. Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Milan are required.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team in Milan and play a key role in supporting our financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes.

You’ll work across FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis, transforming financial and operational data into clear insights that help shape business decisions and support the growth of a fast‑scaling company.

This is an opportunity for an analytical, curious, and detail‑oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, collaborating cross‑functionally, and taking ownership of projects with a direct impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes
• Build and maintain financial models covering P&L, cash flow, scenarios, and business planning
• Monitor and analyze key SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn rate, and runway
• Prepare management reporting and contribute to board and investor reporting
• Perform variance analysis and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities
• Partner with Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to support data-driven decision‑making
• Contribute to fundraising, due diligence, and strategic finance projects
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, audit, or a similar analytical role
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Confidence in building, interpreting, and communicating financial models
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills and experience working with large datasets
• Familiarity with Salesforce
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Fluent English
• Based in Milan or willing to relocate

• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale‑up

• Knowledge of BI tools or ERP systems
