ION Group seeks a Commercial Finance Analyst in Milan to monitor revenue performance, support sales planning and forecasting, and deliver financial insights across the client and contract lifecycle.

The role collaborates with Sales, Legal, Accounting and Billing teams, enabling data-driven decisions and improved reporting. A Master’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant experience are required.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance, Sales or Business Analysis.
• Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written).
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI; SAP SD and Salesforce is an advantage.

• Develop and maintain financial and commercial models to monitor revenue performance, sales pipeline evolution, contract value and KPIs.
• Interact with Sales and Legal teams to track client lifecycle and support commercial strategy implementation.

To strengthen the FP&A function across Cedacri companies, part of ION Group, we are looking for talented professionals interested in developing their career as a Commercial Finance Analyst. This position is intended for candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience. In this role, you will monitor commercial performance, support sales planning and forecasting, and provide financial insights throughout the client and contract lifecycle. You will work closely with Sales, Legal, Accounting, and Billing teams to support informed decision-making and improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Your Role

Your key duties and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial and commercial models to monitor revenue performance, sales pipeline evolution, contract value and key commercial KPIs, providing actionable insights to support business decision-making
• Regularly interact with Sales and Legal teams to track client life cycle and support the implementation of the commercial strategy
• Contribute to Financial Planning & Analysis activities, particularly in preparing sales budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews
• Support Accounting and Billing Operations by analyzing contracts, fee calculation methods, and invoice creation processes, including participation in process improvement and re-engineering projects
• Contribute to other FP&A initiatives aimed at enhancing tools and processes to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Your Skills, Experience, And Qualifications Required

• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance, Sales or Business Analysis functions
• Strong proficiency in both Italian and English (spoken and written)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI; experience with SAP SD and Salesforce is an advantage
• With your “get things done” attitude, you can prioritize, support, and track multiple tasks successfully while meeting deadlines in a constantly evolving environment.

• Gross Annual Salary (RAL) ranging from €45,000 to €60,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
