Abbott is seeking a Field Technical Engineer to join the Electrophysiology Team in Italy. The role focuses on promoting EP product lines and providing technical support to medical and sales staff during procedures.

You will attend electrophysiology procedures, train customers, support clinical studies, and ensure adherence to Abbott quality procedures while communicating feedback to the field and coordinating with regional teams. Working travel up to 75% is expected.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering (Biomedical or Electrical).
• Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Preferable 1–2 years in similar technical support activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description

We are looking for a Field Technical Engineer to join our Electrophysiology Team in Italy.

1. Primary Objective of Position

The incumbent is responsible for the promotion of Abbott EP Product lines through professional and technical support to both medical and sales personnel. This position is additionally responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott. This position’s primary function is to attend electrophysiology procedures and support any issues related to transcatheter ablation equipment.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance over the whole national territory to the sales force and physicians
• Perform product presentations and training on products utilization to customers
• Support physicians during the enrolment and follow up phase of clinical studies
• Provide support to Regional Sales Managers, FTE Coordinator and Clinical Department for any additional tasks and projects
• Be proactive in taking Abbott solution-oriented approach to customers
• Promptly communicate feedback/info on supported electrophysiology procedures
• Perform booth duty when required
• Ensure all Abbott standing Quality Procedures are followed

3. Education & Competencies

• Degree in Engineering (Biomedical or Electrical) or Electrophysiology
• Good Knowledge of English and Italian, both written and verbal
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Preferable 1/2 years in similar activities (technical support)
