BYD EUROPE is seeking a qualified professional for the installation and maintenance of energy storage systems in La Spezia, Italy. The role involves hands-on work addressing technical issues and providing customer support.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of high/low voltage systems. A strong customer service orientation and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the power industry or with high/low voltage systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, particularly energy storage systems.
• Relevant certifications in electrical or high voltage operations preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage systems on site.
2. Address technical issues on‑site in a timely manner to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
3. Provide technical support to customers, answer questions about the equipment, and deliver necessary training.
4. Collaborate closely with the technical support team and R&D department to feedback on‑field issues and suggest improvements.
5. Continuously follow up on customer after‑sales service requirements to improve customer satisfaction.
6. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company safety standards when performing any on‑site work.

Requirements

1. Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of experience in the power industry or with high/low voltage systems, with preference for those with energy storage experience.
3. Hands‑on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance, preferably familiar with energy storage systems.
4. Solid understanding of electrical systems, particularly energy storage systems and their principles.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, capable of working in high/low voltage environments.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to work efficiently under pressure.
7. Relevant electrical or high voltage operation certifications are preferred.
8. Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to flexible working hours.
