Job summary

Kardex Remstar is seeking an enthusiastic field service professional to perform maintenance and technical support for installed equipment and systems in the Lombardy region, with travel to customer sites around Milan. You will diagnose issues, determine modernization needs, install, configure, calibrate, and repair equipment, and provide remote troubleshooting and on-site breakdown services.

Flexibility to work outside regular hours, be on-call periodically, and travel within Lombardy is

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrotechnical, Electronics or Mechanical fields.
• Experience with diagnostic methods and a technical/mechanical/electronic background.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and technical support for installed equipment and systems.
• Decide when products need modernization or replacement; diagnose and resolve malfunctions.
• Install, configure, calibrate and repair technical products and systems at customer sites.
• Perform remote diagnostics.
• Carry out periodic breakdown services.
• Build strong customer relationships by working directly in the field.
