Bystronic is seeking a 2nd Level Service Technician to provide hands-on support to 1st Level teams, ensuring maximum uptime of tube laser systems at customer premises worldwide.

The role covers installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades with a focus on safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction. Travel ~80% across Europe, collaborating with service and engineering teams; English is required, Italian is a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3-5 years technical service experience: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience commissioning industrial machinery, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and start-up, is required.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, with a strong commitment to safety compliance, procedures, and accurate documentation.

Mansioni

• Install, fully disassemble, revise, assemble, commission and hand over Bystronic tube laser machines, including system integrations.
• Resolve very complex issues and mentor other technicians.
• Assemble electric, pneumatic and hydraulic installations.
• Perform advanced repairs and measurements.
• Retrofit Bystronic machines at customer sites, modifying electric, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform CNC/PLC software updates or downgrades and verify results.
• Diagnose and adjust CNC/PLC parameters and ensure system reliability.
• Complete service reports and installation documentation in CRM and share learnings with team.
