Job summary

Veralto is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and maintain Videojet equipment, train customers, and ensure uninterrupted production at client sites. You will work with Account Managers and the internal support team, traveling within North Italy to deliver top-tier service and support ongoing contracts.

The role emphasizes strong technical capability, customer orientation, and a willingness to travel, with onboarding and training to help you excel in a dynamic field-based position.

Qualifications

• Solid technical foundation in electronics and mechanics (software/systems understanding is a plus).
• 1–3 years of experience in a Field Service, OEM, or hands-on technical service environment.
• Strong customer orientation, able to handle challenging service situations professionally.
• Willingness to travel extensively (mainly North Italy), with flexibility for overnight stays when required.
• Proactive attitude and learning mindset — curious, adaptable, and comfortable with a dynamic field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Install Videojet products at customer sites and train customers.
• Provide ongoing care of products at customer sites and support a growing contract base.
• Continuously grow excellent customer relationships.
• Promote and support the company’s contract portfolio.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to offer optimal solutions (set up trials, support projects, site surveys).
• Diagnose customer problems before site visits via cloud-connected systems.
