Panasonic Industry Europe GmbH in Lombardia Est is looking for a Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) to support regional sales through application engineering. You will be responsible for customers in Lombardia east and Veneto west, gathering technical requirements and providing on-site support.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant engineering field or significant experience, with strong analytical skills and fluency in Italian and English. The position offers flexible working hours and health insurance.

What you will be doing

• Support regional sales activities through application engineering and technical guidance.
• Take responsibility for all devices in our automation area: controllers, HMIs, sensors and motors.
• Gather customer technical requirements, define specifications, and execute assigned project tasks.
• Apply analytical thinking to evaluate applications, select suitable products, and prepare technical documentation.
• Provide on‑site customer support, including installation setup, software training, and programming assistance.
• Support and develop all customers based in Lombardia east and Veneto west area.

What we are looking for

• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics, Informatics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Alternatively: a high school diploma plus 3+ years of experience in a technical field related to mechatronics applications.
• Strong analytical mindset, customer‑oriented communication, and willingness to support on‑site activities.
• Business fluency in Italian; strong English language skills are very preferred.
