Job summary

Racing Bulls S.p.A. seeks a Brake Ducts Design Engineer to create and develop braking duct components for performance and reliability. The role involves end-to-end design, lightweight composites, and close collaboration with aerodynamics, performance, and manufacturing teams.

You will liaise with external partners, analyze design specs, and ensure alignment with vehicle KPIs. English proficiency is required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Automotive/motorsport design experience in composites and brake cooling.
• Excellent English (written and spoken); Italian an advantage.
• Knowledge of metallic materials and treatments; composites manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development of brake duct subsystems and components.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to align with vehicle KPIs.
• Prepare design documentation for testing and trackside operations.
• Resolve quality issues during production and on-track faults.
• Provide remote support from factory during race events.
