Job summary

You will apply CAD FEA methods and material process knowledge, driving design to reliability and lightweighting with travel to race events and factory locations. Requires degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years in motorsport design, CATIA 3DX proficiency

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional motorsports environment with design experience.
• Some FEA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in planning and strategy of component development and race introduction.
• Design and development of F1 car components.
• Seek continuous improvement in component design with focus on car performance.
• Contribute to composite design group workload plans in consultation with partners.
• Liaise with Race Team concerning reliability and design revisions.
• Perform necessary research and development functions.
