HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. is expanding its IT capabilities for the new terminal expansion project in Trieste.

We seek an IT Network and Systems Engineer to plan, coordinate and deliver hardware infrastructure required for the expanded facility, ensuring timely integration with existing IT systems and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT project management with strong networking, data communication and infrastructure experience, and is comfortable coordinating

Competenze

• Requires hands-on project management experience in hardware and infrastructure.
• Strong networking, data communication and IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Degree in IT, Engineering or related field; strong stakeholder coordination skills.

Mansioni

• Manage and coordinate IT hardware projects within the terminal expansion programme.
• Define and validate hardware and infrastructure requirements (networks, servers, data centres).
• Coordinate suppliers/contractors ensuring safety, security and technical compliance.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of IT hardware systems and their integration with software.
• Support project planning, risk management, acceptance tests, and go-live phases.
