HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. is seeking an IT Project Manager (Hardware) for the Expansion Project in Trieste. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver IT hardware infrastructure for the future terminal, ensuring integration with existing systems and compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT project management with hardware focus, strong vendor coordination, and willingness to relocate to Trieste on short notice. English fluency is essential, Italian and/or German are a plus.

Competenze

• 5+ years of IT project management with hardware focus.
• Experience in industrial/logistics/port environments preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Trieste; EU work permit required.

Mansioni

• Manage IT hardware projects within the terminal expansion program.
• Define hardware and infra requirements (networks, servers, data centres).
• Coordinate suppliers and contractors ensuring safety and security compliance.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of hardware systems.
• Ensure integration between hardware, software and existing IT systems.
• Support planning, scheduling, and risk management for hardware activities.
• Coordinate tests and go-live phases; ensure port IT standards.
