Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Italy (Roma) is seeking a Senior Manager to shape and deliver evidence generation for Italy and Greece.

You will identify local evidence gaps and translate them into rigorous, feasible research plans, guiding studies from concept to dissemination. This role partners with medical, regulatory, access, data and finance teams to align local needs with global priorities and drive impactful real-world research.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of relevant experience in pharma, healthcare research or related environment.
• Experience owning evidence generation strategy and leading observational, real-world or database studies.
• Strong knowledge of research methods, good research practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate medical questions into executable evidence plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence strategy development by identifying local gaps and translating them into robust research plans.
• Guide studies from concept and protocol through execution, analysis, reporting, and dissemination.
• Align local needs with regional/global priorities in planning and governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery with medical, research, regulatory, access, data, legal, compliance, procurement, and finance partners.
• Manage external research partners against scope, quality, budget, and timelines.
• Oversee portfolio planning by forecasting budgets, monitoring progress, and escalating risks.
• Apply innovative research approaches using digital tools, analytics, data visualization, and AI-enabled tools.
