Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Manager to define and execute the evidence generation strategy for Italy and Greece. You will shape local research plans, link clinical and health economic needs to global priorities, and lead high-quality real-world and observational studies across peri-approval and post- approval phases.

You will work with medical, regulatory, data, and finance partners to ensure timely, compliant delivery while leveraging digital tools and advanced analytics to support portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, public health, epidemiology, health economics or related field.
• 8–10 years in pharma/healthcare research environment.
• Experience owning evidence generation strategy and leading observational/real-world studies.
• Strong knowledge of research methods, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate medical questions into executable evidence plans.
• Demonstrated project, portfolio, vendor, and budget management skills.
• Strong scientific judgment and professional English-language communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence strategy development by identifying local gaps and prioritizing robust research plans.
• Guide studies across lifecycle from concept to dissemination.
• Align Italy and Greece needs with regional/global planning and governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery with medical, regulatory, data, compliance, and finance partners.
• Manage external research partners with defined scope, quality, budget, and timelines.
• Oversee portfolio planning, budgeting, progress monitoring, and risk escalation.
• Apply innovative approaches using digital tools and analytics for planning and decisions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field
