Vactor Mfg. Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair fabrication, machining, welding, and material handling equipment.

You will service 480/220/100 V electrical systems and perform pipe fitting, facility upkeep, and safe work practices. A valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights are required. Expect to complete hazardous waste training; 2+ years in plant maintenance; read hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical blueprints and pass electrical tests.

Competenze

Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing plant maintenance position.
Thorough understanding of 480 wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
Knowledge of heating and air conditioning, welding, cutting.
Use of hand tools, PC, electrical testing equipment, sewer power rodder.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be able to work at heights of 40 feet.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Must be able to read and understand hydraulic, electrical and mechanical blue prints.
Must pass a written & hands on electrical test.

Install, maintain, and repair fabrication, machining, welding, material handling, and assembly equipment.
Install and maintain 480, 220, and 100 branch electrical service.
Pipe fitting (gas, water, air, sprinkler system).
Maintain and repair the facility.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Must be willing to do emergency callout.
Perform other duties as assigned.
