ABB E-mobility is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the Operations Test Engineering team in Italy. You will help develop, deploy, and continuously improve automated manufacturing test solutions for high-power AC/DC and DC/DC converter systems used in EV charging products.

You'll work closely with power electronics, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams, increasing first-pass yield and driving industrialization from prototype to mass production while applying best

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Up to 3 years of experience in power electronics, electrical testing, or production test automation.
Ability to read electrical schematics and understand test-bench architectures.
Fluency in English; knowledge of EV standards is a plus.

Mansioni

Develop and implement automated manufacturing test methods for AC/DC and DC/DC converter stages.
Define test coverage and ensure safety, quality, and production requirements.
Support the full manufacturing-test lifecycle from prototype to mass production.
Analyze failures and assist root-cause investigation with data.
Collaborate with power electronics, firmware, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
