Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Director of Sustainability Europe to lead the execution of the company’s sustainability strategy across the Transit business and European operations. You will translate regulations, customer requirements, and market trends into practical actions while advising senior leaders and driving initiatives.

The role requires a strong background in ESG reporting, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Operations to advance disclosure,

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of sustainability, ESG, or related experience.
• Experience building programs in multinational industrial/transport sector.
• Strong knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, GRI, ISSB, TCFD.

Responsibilities

• Lead EU sustainability strategy across Transit and European operations.
• Coordinate disclosures, governance, data collection, and assurance readiness.
• Partner with leadership to align sustainability with business objectives.
