Job summary

Human Technopole in Milan seeks a Scientific Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of the Horizon Europe PRE-CVD project, coordinating work packages, timelines, budgets and partner contributions, while aligning with the Scientific Coordinator.

You will organize consortium meetings, governance, and periodic reporting to the European Commission; ensure compliance with grant and consortium agreements; and act as the operational interface for partners and HT offices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in a research setting.
• Experience in EU-funded collaborative projects (e.g., Horizon Europe).
• Familiarity with EU funding rules, governance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the PRE-CVD project, coordinating work packages, timelines and budgets.
• Organise consortium meetings, governance bodies, and periodic reporting to the European Commission.
• Oversee administrative, financial and contractual management, and maintain documentation for reviews and audits.
• Coordinate reporting and deliverables with consortium partners and HT offices.
• Act as the operational interface with the European Commission Project Officer and external stakeholders.

Education

Master's degree in health sciences or related fields

3–5 years of project management experience

EU-funded project management experience

Fluency in English
