Amazon seeks experienced systems engineers to lead the AWS European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) operations, delivering high-availability services for EU customers. You will work with global teams to evolve EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock services, maintaining reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include ongoing health reviews, incident root cause analysis, script development, and contributing to change management and operational backlog. Relocation support within the EU is provided.

Competenze

• Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting or networking administration.
• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
• Experience in Systems engineering, site reliability engineering, building and operating systems at scale.
• EU nationality and EU residency requirements for ESC operations.
• Ability to lead SOP creation, revision, and operational best practices.

Mansioni

• Oversee operations and expansion of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC).
• Collaborate with global AWS teams to improve availability, latency, and efficiency.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to resolve incidents outside business hours.
• Develop and test automation scripts to enhance workflows and reliability.
• Educate service teams about ESC complexities and drive best practices.
