Saipem, a global engineering and construction leader, seeks an Equipment/Machinery Cost Engineer to prepare procurement cost estimates and support tendering activities. You will analyze scope, define estimating strategies, and collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure alignment with technical and contractual requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in equipment/machinery engineering and a master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, with strong Excel skills

Competenze

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related).
• 2–5 years of equipment/machinery engineering experience.
• Advanced Excel is a nice to have.

Mansioni

• Prepare Cost Estimation for Equipment/Machinery procurement.
• Define unit cost via market inquiries or internal databases.
• Avail of Procurement department support where required.
• Analyze tender scope with reference to technical aspects and equipment specs.
• Define estimating strategy for critical procurement items.
• Contribute to Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
• Prepare Commercial bid Evaluation (CBE).
• Review priced Material take off with Lead Estimator.
• Participate in cost review and cost-closure meetings.
• Maintain updated internal material unit cost database.
