Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an entry-level General Maintenance helper to support maintenance tasks around the worksite. Under supervision, you will assist with basic preventative maintenance and learn essential functions to support long-term development.

The role emphasizes learning, safety, and reliability as you gain hands-on exposure to heavy equipment similar to conveyors, crushers, and other plant machinery, with opportunities for advancement through practical experience.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy equipment.
• Willingness to learn mechanical and maintenance fundamentals.
• Must follow safety procedures and MSHA/OSHA regulations.

Mansioni

• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and replace basic mechanical components.
• Perform structural repairs and welding as needed.
• Adhere to MSHA and OSHA regulations and LOTO protocols.
• Record and maintain service logs and maintenance records.
