OverIT is seeking an engineering leader to hire, onboard, and grow a six-to-eight person software team across Java/Spring Boot, Docker, and mobile platforms. You will run interviews, foster performance, and guide career progression while staying hands-on in architecture and code reviews.

You will drive AI-native engineering practices, set standards for testing, CI/CD, observability, and ensure alignment with broader platform goals, collaborating with product and design leaders.

Competenze

• Experience as a software engineer with shipping/operating production systems and leading teams.
• Experience coaching engineers and peers across technical and people-management aspects.
• Track record of growing people through coaching and promotions.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to explain trade-offs to engineers and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience handling technical debt, code quality, and testing strategies in real codebases.
• Experience hiring and building diverse, balanced teams.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted and agentic development tools, and understanding their costs and limits.
• Clear, honest communication across teams and with senior stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Mansioni

• Lead hiring, onboarding and growth of a 6–8 engineer team; run interviews and ensure newcomers integrate quickly.
• Hold regular 1:1s and provide specific feedback; help each person set goals and career path.
• Oversee architecture reviews, code quality, and technical debt; prioritize improvements with the team.
• Drive engineering standards for testing, CI/CD, observability and documentation.
• Promote AI-native engineering practices, ADLC, and mindful use of AI assistance.
• Partner with product managers and designers to shape priorities and manage day-to-day delivery.
