Job summary

Siemens Industry Software S.r.l. is seeking a Software Engineering Associate Manager to bridge Product Management and Software Operations, driving modernization of the Prescriptive Selling Platform (PSP) with AI use cases and new UI.

You will guide a skilled team through architectural challenges and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. You will mentor engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and collaborate with stakeholders while advancing integrations with Salesforce (SFDC) and Polarion.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Experience in software engineering within complex, enterprise-level software ecosystems or large-scale industrial digital transformation environments
• Proven experience collaborating with Product Management and Software Operations to deliver production-grade systems
• Experience in supervisory and leadership roles (team leader deputy)
• Deep technical proficiency in .NET Core (C#) and React; strong state management and asynchronous programming
• Experience evolving legacy platforms into AI-ready systems with LLM integration
• Hands-on experience architecting integrations with Salesforce (SFDC) and Polarion; RESTful APIs, microservices, secure data exchange
• Excellent design skills using Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, or DDD; capable of leading re-architecting efforts
• Fluent in Italian and English; travel <15%

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering talent by supervising, hiring, training, and mentoring staff; own performance management
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers with hands-on guidance and architectural leadership
• Design and architect robust software systems; spearhead re-architecting for performance and scalability
• Ensure functional quality across all releases and deliver on time with high customer value
• Shape the technical roadmap for the product area and promote innovation
• Perform complex software engineering tasks independently on advanced projects requiring deep technical judgment
• Travel up to 15% for collaboration and customer interactions
