Black Duck Software seeks a Regional Field Chief Technology Officer to drive strategic technical leadership across the EMEA region. You will engage directly with C-level and senior technical leaders, translating AI-driven platform capabilities into credible narratives and public-facing thought leadership.

You will collaborate with sales and presales to shape technical messaging, support RFPs, and guide roadmap alignment with market dynamics. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Competenze

• 15+ years in a senior technical leadership role (CTO, Sales Engineering leader, Principal Architect, or equivalent).
• Proven track record engaging with C-level and senior technical audiences.
• Domain expertise in application security (SAST, SCA, DAST) and cloud/SaaS platforms.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to security and responsible adoption.
• Demonstrated success negotiating with executive leadership and key customers.
• Ability to exercise latitude in objective-setting for major regional initiatives.
• Experience shaping standards, methods, or market-facing technical narratives.
• Proven ability to translate complex tech concepts for executives and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated industry presence through talks or thought leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and events.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
