Job summary

Leonardo, a leading international aerospace and defence group, is seeking a Bid Specialist for Cascina Costa di Samarate (VA). You will lead the Proposal Team to prepare compliant offers across technical, financial, and contractual domains, in collaboration with Sales and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Proposal Team, managing the end-to-end proposal process with all relevant stakeholders.
• Align with Sales to verify the opportunity to issue an offer aligned with strategic objectives.
• Obtain assessments of technical/industrial feasibility, economic/financial impact, and legal/administrative implications of the offer.
• Gather and prepare documentation covering project management, technical, customer support, training, finance, planning, and contractual aspects.
• Ensure offers are approved through internal authorizations and delivered to customers in a compliant manner.
• Support contractual negotiations.

For our Helicopters Division we are looking for a Bid Specialist in Cascina Costa di Samarate (VA).

Mission:

Ensure the award of tenders, leading the Proposal Team and managing all the activities to prepare an offer in the different offer phases, together with the approval phase.

Activities:

• Lead the Proposal Team managing end to end the proposal process with all the relevant stakeholders.
• Align with Sales to verify the opportunity to issue an offer consistent with the strategic objectives
• Obtain from the functions an assessment of the technical / industrial feasibility, economic-financial, legal/administrative impact of the offer
• Gather and prepare the documentation related to all aspects of the offer, including project management, technical, customer support and training, finance, planning, contractual, suppliers, offset, etc..
• Ensure the offer to be approved in accordance with the internal authorizations
• Deliver through Sales the commercial offer to the Customer ensuring the offer is compliant with the requirements
• Support contractual negotiation

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar roles (2-4 years)
• Degree (preferably in engineering subjects)
• Commercial attitude and good communication skills
• Good English knowledge
