MANITOU Group is looking for an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to work in their R&D Department located in Castelfranco Emilia, Italy. The role involves designing the vehicle's electrical systems, developing wiring diagrams, and selecting components while collaborating with various departments. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electronics, proficiency in relevant tools like E3 and AutoCAD, and excellent analytical skills. Competenze

• Solid foundation in electronics and electrical engineering is required.
• High proficiency with E3 (Zuken), AutoCAD, and Spac (Autodesk).
• Knowledge of Capital (Siemens) and Siemens PLM is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge and ability to create Bills of Materials (BOM).

Responsibilities

• Design the vehicle’s electrical system.
• Develop functional wiring diagrams, design and size individual harnesses.
• Select electrical and electronic components.
• Interface continuously with various internal departments involved in vehicle design.
• Collaborate with Prototype and Testing departments on vehicle installation and validation processes.
• Act as liaison with dedicated suppliers and/or external collaborators.

Role Requirements

• Solid foundation in electronics and electrical engineering.
• High proficiency with E3 (Zuken), AutoCAD, and Spac (Autodesk); knowledge of Capital (Siemens) and Siemens PLM is a plus.
• Expertise in layout creation.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, current clamps).
• Strong skills in prototype wiring inspection and control.
• Knowledge and ability to create Bills of Materials (BOM).
