Job summary

Oversonic is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Vision team, focusing on integrating computer vision models into production software for our robotics platform, on edge devices and in the cloud.

You will design robust pipelines for data acquisition, inference, and AI model deployment, collaborating with AI, Software, and Hardware teams; proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with NVIDIA Jetson is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of software development experience focusing on computer vision, robotic perception, or 3D vision.
• Strong Python OOP with multithreading and async programming.
• Experience with streaming and IoT protocols such as WebRTC and MQTT.
• Hands-on with RGB-D pipelines, point clouds, and 3D libraries like PCL.
• Experience deploying DL models with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying/optimizing AI models on GPUs/edge with ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, CUDA, NVIDIA Jetson.
• Familiarity with Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Integrate CV models into production software across robotics platform.
• Develop services and pipelines for image acquisition, inference, and post-processing.
• Deploy AI apps on edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson) and cloud.
• Integrate with REST/gRPC, messaging, and streaming protocols.
• Optimize performance and manage AI model lifecycle (ONNX, TensorRT).
• Develop modular software in Python.
• Containerize apps with Docker and contribute to CI/CD.
• Collaborate with AI, Software, and Hardware teams for end-to-end solutions.
