The International School of Milan, part of the Inspired Education Group, seeks a caring and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join from August 2026. You will support teaching and learning in the Early Years, working closely with the class teacher to create a safe, engaging environment for young learners.

The ideal candidate will have experience with 2–5 year olds, a nurturing approach, and a collaborative mindset.

Competenze

• Experience working with young children (ages 2–5).
• A warm, patient and nurturing approach.
• High expectations of behaviour and age‑related learning outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Energy, flexibility and a proactive attitude.
• Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit).

Mansioni

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Lead learning with individual children and small groups to support development.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining a stimulating Early Years learning environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional and physical development.
• Help manage classroom routines, transitions and behaviour in a positive manner.
• Contribute to monitoring children’s progress and communicate observations to the class teacher.
• Support children with additional needs where required.
• Ensure a safe, clean and well‑organised classroom environment.
• Supervise children during playtime, activities and school events.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
