A&O IT Group is seeking a staff IT Support Engineer to join as a freelance contractor in Rome. The role involves 1st line IT support for desktops, printers, and mobile devices, with responsibility for installation, testing, and problem resolution within established guidelines.

You will work on-site from 8:00 to 19:00, Monday through Friday, with potential after-hours on-call support. Prior experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office products is preferred.

Competenze

• 0-2 years experience in the field or a recent graduate in a related area required.
• Hands-on experience with desktops, workstations, notebooks and printers.
• Exposure to remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Background security check may be required.

Mansioni

• Provide 1st line IT support to staff, diagnosing and resolving end-user issues.
• Test, repair, and document desktop hardware and software problems.
• Manage on-site infrastructure tasks and asset inventory.
• Provide on-site cover 8:00–19:00, Mon–Fri; participate in on-call out-of-hours support as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement for hardware/software purchases.
• Take ownership of incidents from ticket to resolution.
