Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and coordinate safe transportation upon arrival and departure.
• Coordinate with Front Office, port reception, and luggage porter services.
• Handle luggage loading/unloading, verify items, and escort guests to vehicles.
• Respond to guest inquiries about local attractions, property, and services.
• Monitor vehicle functions to ensure punctuality and service quality.
• Report safety issues or security concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The role, in accordance with and under the supervision of the Manager, involves:

• Welcoming guests and ensuring their safe and comfortable transportation upon arrival and departure.
• Adhering to service standards by coordinating effectively with the Hotel Front Office department, the port reception team, and the island's luggage porter service.
• Handling luggage loading and unloading, verifying the items, and escorting guests to their assigned vehicle.
• Responding to guest inquiries regarding local attractions, the hotel property, and other available services.
• Monitoring all vehicle functions to ensure maximum punctuality and impeccable service.
• Reporting any safety issues, hazards, or potential security concerns to the supervisor.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with passenger transport authorization.
• Ability to communicate professionally in fluent Italian and English.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within high-end hospitality environments.
• Additional qualities include: excellent personal appearance and hygiene, strong customer orientation, effective communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude.

Additional Information

• Contract starting from the 2027 season.
• Full-time availability required, with both daytime and evening shifts, from Monday to Sunday.
• Preference will be given to local talent; however, shared accommodation is provided for non-residents.
