SMX is hiring a Field Service Technician to support the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command’s IT infrastructure in Venezia, Italy.

The role is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities including hardware maintenance, installation, diagnostics, and network tasks to ensure mission readiness. The candidate will manage assets, warranties, and DoD-compliant configurations, while collaborating with regional HQ and field offices.

Competenze

• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI and willingness to take a CI Poly.
• Two (2) years of college in a computer field and four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination for a total of six (6) years in IT support.

Mansioni

• Provide Tier II on-site hardware maintenance and diagnostics.
• Perform hardware installation, relocation and basic network administration.
• Manage assets, warranties and cabling per DoD requirements.
• Support IT service delivery for mission applications and user compute environments.
• Coordinate, resolve and close service requests; provide weekly updates to HQ.
