World Food Programme seeks a Disability Inclusion Officer to support the Gender, Protection and Inclusion Unit from Rome or remotely. The role emphasizes engagement with OPDs, development of inclusive guidelines, and technical assistance across regions.

The officer will help mainstream disability inclusion within CSPs and program design. The position requires a Master’s degree and at least six years in development/humanitarian work with a focus on disability inclusion, strong analytical skills,

Competenze

• Masters degree in social sciences, development studies, international relations, sociology or related field.
• At least six years of professional experience in development projects or humanitarian assistance, with disability inclusion focus.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Mansioni

• Engage with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and lead OPD engagement work.
• Develop and foster partnerships with OPDs at global and regional levels.
• Provide technical assistance and capacity building to regional offices and COs on disability inclusion.
