Job summary

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in Operations with 5+ years leading large teams.
• Strong understanding of Service Theory, Operations Management, THP/TSP/GSOP, ISO processes and TAPA
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Proficient PC skills, especially MS Office
• Degree level education preferred
• Passion for customer delight and high-performance leadership

Responsibilities

• Directly manage country operations cost and service performance against standards
• Maintain gateway status and security compliance (TAPA)
• Oversee facilities maintenance and optimal site locations
• Plan new facility locations and customer touchpoints
• Lead and train the Operations team to meet targets and manage performance
• Coordinate with Regional Hub, Transportation, Sales and third-party contractors to grow road haulage network
• Monitor transit times and take action to meet targets
• Develop country quality strategy aligned with ISO standards
• Measure service performance using Service Quality Index
