Job summary

BAT is seeking a Digital Consumer Experience Intern in Italy to support planning, execution and optimization of online campaigns and platforms. You will learn to manage and develop fully optimized content and evaluate performances for continuous improvement of digital activities.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements, a monthly internship reimbursement of €800 gross, meal vouchers, and opportunities for online learning and growth within BAT.

We are looking for a Digital Consumer Experience Intern to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online campaigns & platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, content and technology. He will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our digital activities. He will learn to manage and develop fully optimized content and to evaluate their performances assuring a continuous enhancement process.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the ideation, implementation and go-live of digital campaigns across company platforms.
• Support the end-to-end creation, internal approval and go-live process for web pages and digital solutions, coordinating with key stakeholders including Brand, Legal and external agencies.
• Plan, execute and monitor digital content performance across affiliate platforms, including Telegram, Tradedoubler and Belboon.
• Contribute to SEO activities across Italian websites, supporting keyword analysis, editorial workflows and internal approval processes.
• Measure and report digital marketing performance using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Conductor, with a focus on relevant KPIs.
• Support budget tracking and related administrative activities for digital initiatives.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of digital activities.

Requirements

• Strong interest in digital marketing, consumer experience and UX/UI principles.
• Good understanding of digital marketing concepts, digital platforms and online consumer journeys.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and willingness to develop hands‑on experience in content optimization.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and ability to interpret data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Good writing skills and attention to detail, with the ability to support the creation of clear, user-oriented digital content.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity and critical thinking, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
