Job summary

Axiom Technologies in Tuscany, Italy, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.

You will respond to requests via ticketing, phone or in person, install and maintain operating systems, assist with onboarding and offboarding, support remote users, and collaborate with IT teams while following security policies.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop, laptop, printer and mobile device support.
• Proficiency in Windows/macOS/Linux OS installation and maintenance.
• Experience with VPN and remote connectivity.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Familiarity with security policies and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing systems, phone or in person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues (monitors, keyboards, docking stations).
• Set up and configure new employee workstations, including accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues and projects.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus and patching duties.
