Aufgaben

• Provide preventive oral hygiene services including prophylaxis treatment and oral health education to patients under the supervision of a licensed dentist.
• Maintain patient records and keep accurate documentation.
• Perform intraoral exams and take necessary radiographs (x-rays) as required by the dentist.
• Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, extractions, and other restorative treatments.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper sterilization techniques.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices such as brushing and flossing.
• Identify potential problems early and refer them to the dentist when appropriate.
• Stay current with new technologies and developments in oral hygiene through continuing education courses.
