Supermicro is expanding its service team for its Netherlands branch. The Datacenter Solution Engineer will join the Global Service Installation Team and handle racking, installation and network cabling of data center hardware.

You will provide first-line technical support and collaborate with engineering to ensure proper installation, with travel to sites locally and internationally, including occasional extended hours.

Competenze

• 5 years of experience in servicing complex X86 systems in a datacenter.
• Bachelor’s degree or Dutch MBO4 in CS/CE/EE.
• Strong English; Dutch would be a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware.
• Provide first-line technical support to end users via telephone, email and ticketing system.
• Travel internationally and locally for installations at customers or data center problems.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure seamless hardware integration and proper installation per specifications.
• Assist with on-site customer contact and hardware break fixes.
