Supermicro in Milan is expanding its service team for our Netherlands branch. The Datacenter Solution Engineer will join the Global Service Installation Team to perform rack and stack, cable routing, and installation of server hardware at customer sites.

You will provide first-line technical support, coordinate with engineering, and travel internationally and locally for installations and problem resolution. A fast-paced, onsite customer service focus is essential.

Competenze

5 years of experience servicing complex X86 systems in a datacenter.
Bachelor's degree or Dutch MBO4 equivalent in CS/CE/EE, or comparable experience.
Strong English; Dutch a plus; Windows & Linux proficiency.
BIOS/drivers knowledge; scripting a plus.

Mansioni

Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware.
Assist in implementing server, storage and network equipment.
Coordinate with engineering for seamless hardware integration.
Ensure hardware is installed per specifications and test functionality.
Provide first-line end-user support via phone, email, and tickets.
Travel domestically and internationally for installations and issue resolution.
Escalate complex issues to higher level support when needed.
