Data4 is seeking a Mechanical Critical Environment Manager in Lombardy to oversee the mechanical systems of our data centers. You will lead design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.

You will manage HVAC, chillers, and preventive maintenance, collaborate with electrical and structural engineers, and drive improvements, budgeting, and vendor relations while staying abreast of industry standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focused on critical environments or data centers.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and mechanical design principles.
• Proven project management experience overseeing mechanical installations and upgrades.
• Familiarity with data center safety standards and industry regulations.

• Lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems for data centers, ensuring they meet operational requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, chillers, and other critical mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend system lifespan.
• Collaborate with electrical and structural engineers to integrate mechanical systems into data center designs.

• Provide guidance to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
• Prepare and manage budgets related to mechanical operations and maintenance.

• Develop and implement emergency response plans for mechanical failures.
