LJB & Co in Milan is seeking two Mechanical Engineers to lead the technical delivery of HVAC and mechanical systems for large hyperscale data centre projects. You will support design coordination, installation, commissioning and project handover on a fast-paced site.

The role requires strong experience in M&E contracting, design management and coordination, with a solid understanding of HVAC systems. You will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, on-time

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in an M&E contracting or construction environment.
• Design management and coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical installation practices.
• Commercial awareness and change management capability.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

Mansioni

• Support design management and technical coordination.
• Review tender documentation, plant selection, and material submittals.
• Coordinate mechanical services and ensure design integration.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
• Deliver HVAC installations in line with project quality and safety standards.
• Sequence pipework and installations to meet programme milestones.
• Support procurement of mechanical equipment and specialist subcontractors.
• Assist with installation management through commissioning and handover.
• Manage change documentation and support variation processes.
• Maintain high standards of site quality, safety, and documentation.
